Jacynta and Jeremy Wedding in Fort Benton

Another fun wedding in another Montana location. I shot Jeremy and Jacynta’s wedding in Fort Benton on an extremely (and I mean blowing) beautiful September day. They had rented out facilities at the Choteau County Fairgrounds and set up a great venue that included almost 300 family and friends from college and their home town. J and J were one of my most favorite couples to work with. Always smiling and wanting nothing but a good time at their wedding. With Jacynta’s help, we also had access to some unique locations around town for some really different shots. Have a look:

The Drew’s Dillon, MT Wedding

Cassie and Marcus had a great event in Dillon. Getting married at Marcus’s Grandfather’s farm made it a real special location for them. A gorgeous (and windless!) afternoon made for some beautiful ceremony and formal shots. Then we all headed to a nearby family house for the reception and dancing. Beautiful fun couple that was a pleasure to shoot with. Have a look at some of their pics:

Bozeman Country Wedding

Had a chance to shoot a great wedding for Cody and Megan Miller. They went country style by having their event at a local farm owned by one of their good friends. We lucked out on the weather not being scorching hot for an August afternoon wedding and got some beautiful shots. Take a look:

Bozeman Summer Garden

Howdy,

As busy as I get in the summer with wedding photography, my lady and I still find time to have a vegetable garden in our yard. It takes a good bit of time to start it, a whole bunch of work to nourish it, and lots of water to make it grow. But, the results are always worth it. At this point, we are still waiting for the tomatoes to ripen, but we have been enjoying lots of fresh arugula, kale, different lettuce varieties, our beans and a few cucumbers. As much as we shop at and enjoy the farmer’s markets in Bozeman, nothing tastes quite as good as your homegrown produce. I took a little walk through our garden and grabbed some shots of what we had going on. Here in Bozeman, with summers being as quick as they are, you need to sometimes stop and smell (photograph) the flowers. Or vegetables in this case… Enjoy. -R

Bridal Affaire Follow Up

Well it was a great day at the 2012 Bridal Affaire. I met so many brides-to-be and had a terrific time talking with all of them. I love when I get to hear their ideas, needs and concerns about their events. It gets my creative juices flowing and gets me all excited about the upcoming wedding season! It looks like it is going to be incredible! I had some great leads from Saturday, filled in a few more dates on the calendar and got to network with other vendors in the business. I would like to thank Kelly at Markus Events for putting together such a huge event a doing such a amazing job with it. If any brides are looking for a great wedding coordinator, I can’t recommend Kelly enough, and I have no idea how she was able to handle over 84 different vendors. Wow, what a task. If you came by my booth and had a chance to talk to me and still haven’t decided on a photographer, Call me or email me and we can put together the perfect package for your wedding. I look forward to hearing from you.
